In regards to Home Air Conditioning, the south of England is fortunate to benefit from summer weather which in these times encourages more and more local people to research and choose residential air conditioning. Those investing in this improvement to their homes consider this as a vital rather than an opulent upgrade for a property, reserved for the wealthy few. As an independent air conditioning installer with access to amazing deals from our suppliers, we are able to offer fully fitted solutions, from as little as £1200.
A lot of people believe that residential air conditioning simply generates cold air in an equivalent manner to the way radiators create warm air. This is not how it works. The basic principle is one where heat is moved from inside the home and transferred outdoors.
There are three parts to the system - the evaporator, the compressor, and the condenser. Heat inside the home is first passed to the cold evaporator coil. The evaporator is located inside and absorbs heat from the room. Fans are used to direct the lower temperature air into that part of the home. Heat absorbed by a refrigerant causes this liquid to evaporate. The compressor increases the pressure of the refrigerant gas created by evaporation which raises its temperature. When superheated, the vapour arrives at the outside condenser and heat is transferred to the outside air. The gas cools and liquefies and then returns inside the room.
